VT Cosmetics Cica Mild Foam Cleanser is a gentle, alcohol-free, deep-cleansing facial foam suitable for all skin types, especially stressed combination skin that is prone to irritation. This rich, soft cleansing foam helps remove dirt from deep within the pores, as well as traces of light makeup and sunscreen, without leaving the skin feeling tight or dry after cleansing.

The cleansing foam contains the CICALIAO™ complex with soothing Centella Asiatica extract and antibacterial propolis extract (Centella Asiatica Extract, Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Madecassoside, Madecassic Acid + Green Propolis Extract) to help relieve skin irritation and redness while promoting softer, more radiant and brighter-looking skin.

A triple hyaluronic acid complex and various antioxidant-rich botanical extracts (including lavender, chamomile and rosemary) help keep the skin hydrated and balanced both during and after cleansing.

The generous 300 ml size is almost three times larger than most cleansers, meaning this cleansing foam won't run out anytime soon!

• Water-based cleanser is used for facial cleansing either alone or after an oil-based cleansing product as a second step of double cleansing: Rub a pea-sized amount of cleanser in circular motions onto damp face in the mornings and/or evenings, avoiding the eye and mouth areas, then rinse off with luke-warm water.

If skin irritation such as redness, swelling, or itching occurs after use or exposure to sunlight, discontinue use and consult a doctor if necessary. Do not use on broken skin. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse thoroughly with water if the product gets into the eyes.

Centella's antioxidants calm the irritated by relieving inflammation and reducing redness. It also improves and regenerates the skin and supports collagen production. In addition, centella brightens and evens out the skin tone, helps the skin retain moisture and reduces the visibility of scars.

Centella can have many different names depending on which part of the plant has been used, or what kind of extracts and oils have been made from it; eg Centella Asiatica Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract and Centella Asiatica Root Extract. In many cultures, including Korea, centella is also known as Tiger grass or Tiger herb. The name comes from the legend that wounded tigers would seek out wild centella and rub themselves on the plant's leaves to heal.
